THE OFFICE OF SECRETARY GENERAL GENERAL INFORMATION Secretary General is the head of the University Administrative Organization and hinges on the Rector. The Office of Secretary General consists of one Secretary General and at most two Assistant Secretary Generals and dependent units. RESPONSIBILITIES Secretary General performs the duties below through the instrument of its Office and the dependent units apart from the duties he has to perform as the Head of University Administrative Organization: a) To enable the units of the Administrative Organization work effectively, organized and in harmony. b) To perform charges of the Rector without participating in the voting at the Administrative Council; to make sure that the decisions of this Council are written, preserved and kept. c) To inform the dependent units about the decisions of the University Senate and Administrative Council. d) To make suggestions to the Rector about the personnel to be charged in the Administrative Organization of the University e) To enable the service of Press and the Public Relations f) To conduct the correspondence of the Presidency. g) To conduct the protocol, formalities and visiting organization of the Presidency.
AUTHORIZATION AND RESPONSIBILITY He is responsible of the points above and authorized in the conduction of them within the frame of the law, regulations guidelines and the Presidency. The Secretary General Works responsibly for the Rector. |
